Best Blogging Content of the Week Ending Nov. 11, 2011

by Adam on November 11, 2011

There’s been tons of great content published across the blogging world this week.

Here are a few of my favorite posts that I thought you might enjoy:

  • SEOMoz on the Google “Freshness” update. On Thursday, Nov. 2, Google updated its algorithms, impacting “roughly 35 percent of searches.” Is it as scary as it sounds? Find out in their very informative video.
  • Corbett Barr on blog design for non-designers. I suspect you’re like me, and don’t have a couple thousand dollars lying around that can be spent on a first-rate designer for your blog. Corbett shares some quick and easy advice to make your blog look more professional. I’m hoping to find the time soon to put some of his tips into action myself in this space.
  • Pat Flynn on what to do if your PowerPoint presentation screws up. Even if you’re not a regular presenter, the lessons Pat shares from his recent speech at the Blog World Expo are definitely something to keep in your arsenal.
Hope you enjoy — have a great weekend!
